Mr. Zafar Gondal:
Mr. Zafar Gondal is a former judge and a leading expert in climate governance and environmental law in Pakistan. He has extensive experience in shaping policy frameworks, guiding institutional reforms, and promoting sustainable governance practices. Mr. Gondal provides actionable insights into regulatory approaches, climate accountability, and governance strategies, empowering students, professionals, and policymakers to implement effective environmental solutions at national and institutional levels.

Mr. Umair Rahman:
Mr. Umair Rahman serves as an Associate in the Office of the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change. He specializes in climate policy, sustainable development strategies, and institutional planning for environmental initiatives. His work focuses on translating policy into actionable programs, promoting climate resilience, and fostering collaboration between governmental and non-governmental actors. Mr. Rahman equips emerging leaders with practical tools for effective climate governance in Pakistan.

PAAP’s Webinar Series 2.0 – Advancing Public Administration Excellence hosted its 5th session on “Climate Governance & Environmental Policy in Pakistan” on Saturday, September 6, 2025. The session featured distinguished speakers Mr. Zafar Gondal, former judge and climate governance expert, and Mr. Umair Rahman, Associate at the Office of the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change.
